    Hi,

I created a simplified custom drawing set in the configurator.  After creating the detail scenes, I made back edges visible and updated the scenes. When I preview the drawing scenes in sketchup it all looks good,   however, when exported to layout the back edges don’t show up.   When I double click on the viewport in layout it’s like a window into the model where I can orbit around and the back edges show up immediately, however when I click out of the group the back edges disappear again….?

Hello Corey!  I think in order for back edges to show the viewport has to be rendered as raster.  You might consider putting a raster viewport on the bottom of the stack that shows the back edges, then add a vector on top so you get clean linework and can easily snap dimensions.  Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks Mike,

I just figured that out:)  I put stacked the raster on top of the vector, but maybe I should switch it (havn’t tried snapping dims yet)

    Thanks

I think if you have the raster on top, the background will be filled in with white and block anything below.  Let me know how it goes!
