Dimensioning to scale in layout

When I dimension in layout it always thinks the drawing is at 1/4″ scale even when it isn’t – how can I set it to dimension properly?

In LayOut, with the Dimension tool active, you can set the scale in the “Dimension Style” inspector.  Auto-Scale is supposed to detect the viewport scale, and does most of the time, but I’ve been burned by this before.  I prefer to force a specific scale by turning Auto-Scale off and choosing the scale manually.

Make sure you check your output. You can set the scale there. Send to Layout from the Condoc Toolbar.

Once inside of layout, ensure your dimensions correlate to the scale you have selected. Ensure they’re not on “Auto detect”.
