Seeing shaded face on opposite surface?

Good Day,

I’m in learning SketchUp via the Drawing Tools tutorial and only see shaded face on opposite surface when I close it. Is there something I’m doing wrong or perhaps I need to make an adjustment in settings?

Please advise.
