I am using condoc 5.1. I have had this problem previously and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I loaded up the Architect_Medeek drawing set, went through the model tagging everything. Each time I tagged the components and groups that I tagged did get the dashed lines and disappeared when clicking outside the model as they should have. After tagging the last thing on my model, I then clicked on the reset button and nothing happened as far as the model reappearing. My model has completely vanished. I did have 3 scenes from previously working on the model and when I click on the individual scenes the model appears for a split second then vanishes. One of the scenes is ‘Design’ which shows nothing at all except for the model axis.

April 8, 2024 at 2:36 pm #34689John ShankParticipantHi Mike, I did have a level 1 tag set up, but did not use it when tagging my model. I know it’s still around somewhere I just can’t get it to show up anymore!
April 8, 2024 at 2:37 pm #34690Mike BrightmanKeymasterdid you run the project setup again?
April 9, 2024 at 12:25 am #34693Jay LewisParticipantI had that same thing happen to me.
I found the model by turning on Hidden Objects. All the layers for the entire model were switched off. I can’t remember the exact steps I used to get it back but check in the nested tags or outliner tab.
I just needed to find everything that was switched off from being visible and switch them back on.
April 9, 2024 at 1:20 am #34694John ShankParticipantThank you Mike and Jay.
Mike I did run the project set up again and it didn’t do anything for bringing my model back.
Jay, I opened up outliner and started clicking on everything that was not ticked, and it did bring my model back group by group and component by component. After doing this I updated the designer scene, clicked on the two other scenes, and my model disapeared again except for a few groups that were still visible.
I am sure I fouled something up some where along the line and will continue to work on the visibility of everything. Luckily, I did save the original model and had a working model that I was using when using the architect_medeek drawing set.
If I am able to figure out where I went wrong I will post results.
Thanks again.
April 9, 2024 at 3:05 pm #34696Mike BrightmanKeymasterHello John! Can you share the model with me? [email protected].
Also, did you hit the “Scene Update and Save” button? That seems to fix 90% of my support calls…
April 10, 2024 at 1:52 am #34697John ShankParticipantHi Mike,
I sent a link out of my dropbox account to your email. Thank you for looking into this. I’m sure it’s something stupid I did along the way. I’ve done lots of other models with complete success so I have no clue what I did wrong with this one.
I did do the ‘scene update and save’ button.

April 11, 2024 at 11:31 pm #34715Mike BrightmanKeymasterHello John! I’m not seeing any issues? I loaded the ARCHITECT_Medeek drawing set, hit reset, and everything appears. Checked your scenes, they look right… I do see left/right/front/back wall framing tags that are assigned to the walls but not native to the ARCHITECT_Medeek drawing set.
In ConDoc 5.2 you can right click on an object and clear all tags from the ConDoc Tags menu. Maybe wipe those out or add them to the drawing set?
A side note, you can now assign multiple location tags to an entity. You might consider adding LOCATION_Front, Back, Left, Right in addition to the default interior, exterior, and site…
Please clarify on what is tripping you up… Thanks for your patience!
Mike
