Thanks Luke, What I’ve decided to do is go for the LG 34UC80-B 34-Inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide. Spent a lot of time online watching reviews of best monitors for CAD, and the prominent choice by serious people was for the ultra wide, and many said that once they tried the curved 34″ monitors, they’d never go back. This LG got pretty high praise, and it’s significantly less than the 4K beasts by Dell and others. I also upgraded my graphics card to a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti OC Low Profile 4GB, which will comfortably drive the monitor. My existing card wouldn’t have been able to handle it.
