My head is spinning! 😉 I’m with Ruben on this, my first instinct is to separate the options out into different models. Especially for a renovation.
In order to tag walls as demolished, you need to modify the existing walls. So in order to keep all options in one model, you would need to duplicate the entire existing conditions model several times and tag each one with custom ConDoc tags Option A, B, C, etc. You could have a drawing set that is specific to each option… but at that point I think it would be much easier to just make a perfect existing conditions model, then save copy as, and start designing option A.
I think there’s a possibility this would work with new construction… unfortunately renovations get so complicated!
Good news, by next weds we are launching ConDoc 5.2 with multi-level and multi-location tagging functionality. It’s slick!!!
