blank scenes ?

hello

when i hit scene update and save my model disappears and can only be retrieved by clicking thru the layers tabs.

when i hit generate plans model does same disappearing act.

generate plan produces plans scenes all blank. double clicking on each scene gives brief flash of appropriate drawing then disapears

scenes export to layout blank

i am new to this program and read thru the sketchup workflow for architecture book to setup. i’m sure i don’t have a setting right. please help

I experience the same behaviors. Can anyone shed any light on what is going on here, is this normal behavior?
