Hello Mike and fellow Sketchup and Condoc users,
Is Condoc 4 already compatible with the new Sketchup 2021?
If so, can I just install it or are there some things to consider or attend to first?
Kind regards,
Joris Vanderhasselt

November 28, 2020 at 2:57 pm #27292Mike BrightmanKeymasterGood Morning Joris! ConDoc 4 is completely compatible with SketchUp 2021. We pushed an update, ConDoc 4.8.1. It is available for download from your Profile page. Make sure you install this version in SketchUp 2021, older versions are not compatible.

January 2, 2021 at 12:40 am #27325Mike BrightmanKeymasterThe latest version is always available for download from you Profile page. ConDoc 4.8.1 is compatible with SketchUp 2019 and later… Let me know if that clears things up! Thanks!

Since I got your attention, I will ask one general quedtion.
It’s time to finally switch from SU19 to SU20 or 21. I’ve been absent from the forum and want to catch up with every tutorials you made, Office Hours recordings etc. since I was away to get my head straight before I move on to all of these, from my point of view, unnecessary ‘improvements’ Trimble implemented in 2020 version and it’s updates.
Could you point me in the right direction? Everything I know about ConDoc were from these kind of content on YouTube or ConDoc website but they seem hard to find now. Any links would be appreciated!
Thanks!
January 2, 2021 at 3:09 pm #27327Mike BrightmanKeymasterGood Morning! Yeah, I could probably get by on SketchUp 2017, I think that is when dashed lines came into play. Otherwise there is nothing new or interesting… I guess LayOut has made a few strides too. Either way you are now pinned down into a $299 subscription for SketchUp. Good news is you will always be on the latest and greatest version!
I would recommend following all of the links on the Learn page, they will take you where you need to be. Don’t overlook the Knowledge Base, I have been writing a bunch of articles lately…
Thanks for your support! Let me know if that helps…
