condoc 4.7 Door & Window components resize issue

I have a couple of doors and windows that are not resizing to my openings. They are too small or too large by 3/4″, the window measurements I was given by the designer who did the measure has supplied dims. My assumption is that the door and window component only increase/decrease by inches? If that is the case I will adjust my model by the 1/4″.

Hello Carolyn!  I am guessing you are using the new ConDoc 4.7 doors and windows.  Those are programmed to round to the nearest inch.  I think… maybe 2″?  Either way…  If you have a weird sized opening, you should adjust to work with the window.  Or… you can use the old 4.5 windows, those snap to any length.  The advantage of the new 4.7 doors and windows is that they report back a tag that can be picked up in LayOut.  Haven’t made that tutorial yet!  Let me know if that solves it for you…

For this plan I swapped out the windows and used the 4.5 version and it worked perfectly. Thank you.
