Condoc – Interior / exterior button not working

Hi

I have set up a model of a building and now the Interior / exterior button has stop doing anything.

When I check the exterior interior bottom on the Condoc display – nothing happens. I check the exterior walls by clicking into it and yes the are on the Walls/exterior/existing.

Some how I have messed it up. if I go back to an early saved model it work ok.

has anyone had this issue and know how to correct it.

Good Morning Luke!

Take a look at your ConDoc System Settings.  Open the configurator, then click the gear.  Make sure that your layers are set.  Keep in mind that since ConDoc LT doesn’t know your layers, they are all set to 2D Graphic.  All of the ConDoc PRO drawing sets will work properly.  My best guess is that you are on ConDoc LT?  Or you tinkered with your layer/tag names and didn’t update them in the ConDoc System Layers and Settings.  Let me know if that helps!

Hi Mike

thanks for the reply. Actually I am using Condoc 4.7 pro, with the Arch drawing set.

I have checked the Configurator and the gear, layers are set, can’t see anything wrong.

When I click the visibility of the layout of each layer the only ones not working are the Locations – interior & exterior.

 

This all happened when I bring in components done in old Condoc drawing sets and it still has old layers system like  – Design – walls or Draft – 01 Fine.

Then I delete these. Yes it was a mess.

 

So I am left with layer location -Interior and exterior, not working.

Any idea?

If you simply turn off the interior and exterior layers, do you get the desired result.?  Can you upgrade to 4.8?  We don’t support old versions…  You won’t have any issues switching mid project…

Just to be clear…  in the layers/tags panel in sketchup…  if you turn off the interior/exterior layers do you get the desired result?  If not, sounds like your geometry is not assigned to the correct layer…

My (arrogant) gut feeling is that ConDoc is working, and you have something mis-layered.  But you never know!  I have never seen that bug…  Keep me posted!
