I dimension my plans to face of studs and to face of concrete with the studs set back a half inch from the face of the concrete so that the wall sheathing lines up with the face of the concrete foundation. How would I create a model in SU2020 that would accurately depict the elevations with exterior and interior wall finishes and create the plans that I can accurately dimension to the studs?
Hello Chris! You could add a 1/2″ face to your walls in a a separate group within the same group as your wall geometry. Assign the 3d object layer to just the 1/2″ face and it will always be turned off in plan, but will always show in elevation, section, and perspective. Let me know if that solves it!
