Is it possible to change the default “drawing set” location? I work on a couple of different machines. All my work and resources are backed up the the cloud and sync’d to all 3 of my machines. It would be nice to have my drawing sets in a location that all my machines have access to, are backed up and syncd as I’ve customized a few things already
You can save them wherever you want and load the drawing set that is synced. It might not be the default but it’s done. I believe some of this stuff on default locations is set by the way Trimble has configured it’s user data, which is stored in the AppData folder of your Local Disk drive.
Are you constantly updating your drawing sets or something? If not, you can always purge the drawing sets located at
C:\Users\<YOURNAME>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2022\SketchUp\Plugins\ConDoc Tools\drawingsets
and substitute your own.
Kyle …. that’s pretty much what I’m doing. I have a copy of a modified version of my drawing set in the default folder in the rabbit hole. Issue came about because I just got a new machine and I didn’t have the modified drawing set on the new machine which led me to want them in a shared location for my machines and it default to that location. That way I’m up to date on all my machines when I make change to my drawing sets from any one of my machines.
