I’m a new ConDoc user and recently began testing the features and capabilities. I have a question on managing projects. I am working on multiple projects (with unrelated Sketchup models). I’m probably missing something simple here, what I see is when I use Drawing Export to send the drawings to Layout, they all go to the same scrapbook file (I’m running MacOS and ConDoc export goes to ConDoc Drawings.layout in the Library/Application Support/Sketchup 2026/Layout/Scrapbooks). I can make a copy of the Scrapbook file but don’t see any way to tell ConDoc which Scrapbook to send exports.

Once you export your plan/elevations or section to layout and bring those views into your layout sheet there really isnt a need ro keep the export in the scrapbook. The sceens will update with the sketchup file as long as you use the view save/update tool on the ConDocs tool bar. I run multiple projects at a time and once I export the model sceens and drag them into layout there is no use for them in the scrapbook. Hope this answers your question

Thanks, that makes sense. that probably answers my other question of when do I need to re-export a scene to layout. looks like export is only necessary to output new content not to update existing pages. The scene update and save tool will handle model changes to existing referenced drawings in layout.
