This is my first project using ConDoc tools. The SketchUp model is small, only 64,420 KB. I successfully used Flex Tools for my design drawings. I now have the model tagged up and my Construction Drawing views generated using the Architect mode. But I can’t export to Layout. The little circle just spins for 10 mins. or so indicating the computer is processing but then it just stops like it has timed out.
Sorry you are hitting a snag here… Can you confirm that the active drawing set while exporting is the same as the drawing set you used to create the scenes? Also… are you sure it didn’t make it into the LayOut scrapbook? If this is your first time exporting from SketchUp to LayOut, you need to close LayOut and reopen in order to see the newly created ConDoc Drawings scrapbook. After the first export it just gets overwritten.. Let me know if that helps, we will get to the bottom of it!
Mike, Success! Followed your tips and it worked without a hitch. It didn’t take that long to export to Layout either. Thanks for your help. I’ve been using SketchUp in my design process for 8 years or so and I’m stoked about integrating it into my CD work flow. It’s looking like ConDoc Tools will be my ticket to make that happen.
