Just to close the loop on this one for anyone else with this issue, it ended up being a SketchUp/LayOut version mismatch. Keep in mind that double clicking on a file doesn’t always open the latest version of SketchUp or LayOut. I’ve gotten into the habit of directly opening the version I want from the windows start menu. SketchUp 2022 sends drawings to LayOut 2022, and SketchUp 2023 sends drawings to LayOut 2023.
