CONDOC Export not sending docs to Layout. No CONDOC Drawing Set available.

System MAC : Sketchup: Version 21.0.392 : LAYOUT: 21.0.392

1. Created a Perspective Drawing using the CONDOC Tools.
2. Opened the Export Tool and selected the Medium drawing for export
3. Click SEND TO LAYOUT
4. … system takes a while … CONDOC Export popup window never goes away
5. LAYOUT – No CONDOC Drawing set in the scrapbooks

 

I used to do this quite often and successfully in SU-2019.   Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated, need to get some spec docs out ASAP.

OK … I made a stupid mistake and did not open the SketchUp file in Layout first; for some reason, I thought it sends them to Layout without the Sketchup file connection.  My Mistake.

While I can now see the Drawing, is it in a scrapbook called Backup of  CONDOC Drawing Scrapbook.  Not sure why this is the case.

Hello Doug!

Sounds like you may have worked this out.  Given the info, not sure what the issue is.  A few comments…

• make sure you load the ConDoc PRO drawing set before exporting, or whichever drawing set you used to create the SketchUp scenes.
• When you run the ConDoc Export, a new scrapbook file is created that overwrites the existing “ConDoc Drawings” scrapbook.
• if you are seeing a backup file, you must have edited the scrapbook.  No need to do that.  Just drag and drop drawing from the ConDoc Drawings scrapbook to a new layout file.
