    Hi

When I export from Sketchup to Layout, I can see that it creates all the drawings as a Scrapbook, including pages and layers. If I then click ‘Edit’ in the Scrapbook tab, it loads all the pages and layers ready to be used.

The problem I have, is that when I use this, it is set to ‘Letter’ paper size, with a ‘Low’ resolution.

Is there any way to change these settings e.g. ‘A3’ and ‘High’ ?

    Many thanks

    Nick

To start Layout Scrap Book’s are nothing more than a Layout file with multiple pages. So anything you can do in a layout file can be done in a Scrapbook file. That said, YES you can change the paper size but the display size in the menu bar doesn’t change so the bigger the paper the smaller the view in the scrap book menu bar and the less legible it becomes.  The paper size in the scrapbook is irrelevant, drag the view from the scrapbook into your sheet, put it on the right layer and then stretch the box that is the view until your complete view is exposed. Your scene will be scaled per the scale set in ConDocs plan exporter and will not change. When you drag that plan, elevation or section into your layout sheet it’s a group consisting of all the individual scenes that compose that plan, section or elevation. Don’t explode it, leave it grouped or you’ll create a whole slew of issues you won’t want to deal with. If you’re still having issues and need some help please feel free to reach out one on one [email protected]
