Hello Everyone ,

I am a new user and just starting the learning process –

I have installed the files and I was just wondering if there is a METRIC set of scrapbooks – and If yes , How do I point layout to it ??

    Thanks

    Hello Gordon!

Have a look at this thread, https://condoctools.com/pro-forum/topic/metric-scrapbook/.

In LayOut, open the file, then click on the File dropdown > “Save as Scrapbook”.

Let me know if that helps….

I have several models already drawn and want to turn them into working drawings. Without starting over and re-drawing re-grouping,… can I use condocs effectively?

Hello Kris! ConDoc LT is the default drawing set on install. When you run the tools they will snapshot the visibility of tags and hidden geometry. So for an elevation, you might hide trees and people, then run the Elevation tool. You can always update the scenes manually after you create them with ConDoc. Check the tutorials! Let me know how it goes!

    Hi Folks ,

I would like to ask how I can switch whole CONDOCT TOOLS from empyreal units (inches) to metric units (centimeter, meter ets)
I’m In New Zealand we did not use inches for measurements here.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hello Alex!

You can switch your model units through the SketchUp interface. Window > Model Info > Units. Adjust the dropdowns as desired.

You might consider creating a template… Click the File dropdown > Save as Template…

When running the ConDoc Export, the active scales are pulled from LayOut. You can adjust which scales are shown within LayOut, click the Edit dropdown > Preferences > Scales. Modify as desired, be sure to fully close and restart SketchUp and LayOut to see the changes in the ConDoc Export.

Be sure to visit the following thread to grab our Metric ConDoc resources, https://www.condoctools.com/pro-forum/topic/metric-scrapbook/.

Let me know if that helps!

    Mike
