Render in layout seems to be reverting to older view in sketchup

When I drag a view (specifically a Medeek site plat (roof)) from scrapbook to layout, I see the yellow triangle.  I render the model on the page and elements of the plan disappear.  It’s like it’s reverting to an earlier version of the sketchup file before I added elements to the site label.  I’m doing the scene update and save before drawing export.  Thoughts? Tips?

Make sure you update your reference in LayOut before you drag it in. Let me know if that solves it!

I’ve had similar issues in the past and had to open the scrap book in layout and physically delete the view the drawing(s) that are in the ConDocs Drawings scrap book. Remember scrap books are nothing more than layout files and they take a beating sometimes

It appears that the reference was out of date.  Updating it helped.  Thanks for the guidance!
