Viewport Stck Order

I’m working on a foundation plan for the first time in ConDocs. I’ve made some changes in the viewport configurations to output what I want in foundation plans. I want my exterior walls to show with a line hatch. I can get the scenes to generate correctly but when I export it to Layout and drop it onto my sheet my stack order is incorrect. How is the viewport stack order controlled? Is it in the order in which the scenes are listed in the configurator?

Hello Ruben,

You are correct. The viewport stacking order is controlled through the configurator browser. You can simply drag-and-drop the scenes to update the ‘stacking order’.

If I change the scene order in the Sketchup Scene window and export the drawing to layout will that change the stack order or do I have to do it in the configurator? Once I figure out my order I’ll reorder the list in the configurator.

Hello Ruben,

I believe you are correct. Changing the scene ‘stacking’ order in the configurator will control how they are exported and stacked up in LayOut. Make your adjustments, save your ConDoc drawing set, and you should see your exported drawings in LayOut reflect the changes.
