Hi Mike,
I sent a link out of my dropbox account to your email. Thank you for looking into this. I’m sure it’s something stupid I did along the way. I’ve done lots of other models with complete success so I have no clue what I did wrong with this one.
I did do the ‘scene update and save’ button.

Mike I did run the project set up again and it didn’t do anything for bringing my model back.
Jay, I opened up outliner and started clicking on everything that was not ticked, and it did bring my model back group by group and component by component. After doing this I updated the designer scene, clicked on the two other scenes, and my model disapeared again except for a few groups that were still visible.
I am sure I fouled something up some where along the line and will continue to work on the visibility of everything. Luckily, I did save the original model and had a working model that I was using when using the architect_medeek drawing set.
If I am able to figure out where I went wrong I will post results.

Hi Mike, I did have a level 1 tag set up, but did not use it when tagging my model. I know it’s still around somewhere I just can’t get it to show up anymore!
Thanks for the suggestion Mike. I will try to condense as much as possible and see how that works. I am loving the condoc system. I pretty
much fully understand everything now. I do have another question now that I am thinking about it. With the update, is the blank or ’empty’ configurator still available or am I just overlooking it?
I did generate the scenes after tagging the model. I think the problem was not hitting the all off button before doing so and that worked for me when working on another model. Thanks Ruben.

I am now finding the sketchup file for working in the configurator. I am guessing when asked to save model before sending over to layout
that the model is then being saved in the sketchup format? It’s a little confusing but I am now slowly catching on. Sorry for the confusion

Another issue_ so I saved my model using the save icon in the configurator window. Closed sketchup down. Opened sketchup, opened up the configurator gear icon and clicked on the open file icon, navigated to my saved ‘condoc’ file, and nothing is there except for all the layers I created. This is becoming somewhat confusing to say the least. I am not sure I understand something – will I ever be working with a true sketchup file using condoc, or is everything I am working with in condoc have the ‘.condoc’ extension. I have also tried opening the model I saved with condoc using the open file icon with sketchup (not condoc) and nothing shows up. I am following instructions explicitly using the tutorials.

Ok so I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was saving the file as a sketchup file rather than as a ‘condoc’ file.
I did not realize that (until I watched the video again) that I could not save it the normal way and had to save in
the configurator box using the save icon! So, I am totally stoked about moving forward with the condoc configurator!
