did you see the model? So I decide to detail some imported model items that have curves like chairs, bottle, plants; and yes the model was able to send to layout. But that does not really help me as I need this items in the model.

So how do you optimise a model.

model is not big, 31mg and everything is in the layers. So what do I to find the problem? What does optimised mean?

Mike thanks for the response.

yes have seen the video and have my set done.

As I have not done a set up for a long time I was having to go back and check. This video for template is the LT version and does not load Architect drawings set with the model organisator, and then I could not find it in the extortion warehouse. So maybe there and extension to this video. But Im good now and thanks again.

thanks for the reply. Actually I am using Condoc 4.7 pro, with the Arch drawing set.

I have checked the Configurator and the gear, layers are set, can’t see anything wrong.

When I click the visibility of the layout of each layer the only ones not working are the Locations – interior & exterior.

 

This all happened when I bring in components done in old Condoc drawing sets and it still has old layers system like  – Design – walls or Draft – 01 Fine.

Then I delete these. Yes it was a mess.

 

So I am left with layer location -Interior and exterior, not working.

Any idea?

yes the styles work correctly.

its just I have two directories of Style in the sketches filing system, one of them might have come from 2018 maybe.

Sketches 2019 file directory on Mac put the style in : Sketchup 2019/styles/my styles. So I am presuming this is where the  latest Brightman styles have been placed.  Is this correct????

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have restarted sketches a few times.

I see I can load the layer state button from the components warehouse. So is this what I need to do every time I start a new template? I just thought is would be automatic every time you load a drawing set like Architect?

So in Sketchup I use the Condoc Export button which send it to layout. it gives me the warning then looks like it processes but nothing, layout does not open up. This is the problem!

But I have checked the sketches button to send it to layout and it works ok.

so need help please.

Thanks for the reply appreciate it.

Im a little confused on how to do a renovation project. Yes I understand your layering system.

It more just the work flow and getting it into layout. Like creating and existing drawing, then running plan generator and what boxes to tick for the scene. Then creating proposed construction plans then running plan generator and what boxes to tick. And then getting the existing and proposed into layout.

Can you help?

Need a video demo of this, it would be really helpful. Is there one???? Or a work flow diagram?
