Another hint. After I put it from Scrapbooks to the page and it appears as unrendered.
And there are two paths:
When the next step is simpy resizing – there’s a bugsplat
But…
When I first re-render the viewports and then resize everything works fine.
The only thing that bothers me is that it never happened to me in the previous versions.

It’s not super clean yet and I still have to put things on layers, etc. but I just wanted to test the new version and boom… the problem occured.

In the meantime I figured out that only one viewport causes the problem. It’s the one with Dashed Style with dashes enabled. I just moved from 2019 to 2021 version. Is there something different in dashes presentation in Sketchup or Layout? Should I change some style settings?

Since I got your attention, I will ask one general quedtion.
It’s time to finally switch from SU19 to SU20 or 21. I’ve been absent from the forum and want to catch up with every tutorials you made, Office Hours recordings etc. since I was away to get my head straight before I move on to all of these, from my point of view, unnecessary ‘improvements’ Trimble implemented in 2020 version and it’s updates.
Could you point me in the right direction? Everything I know about ConDoc were from these kind of content on YouTube or ConDoc website but they seem hard to find now. Any links would be appreciated!

Two questions regarding that topis:
- Anyone having trouble with Layout export to PDF, should check your Sketchup file if there’s any dimension added inside of it. Seems like that was causing the problem for me.
- The other thing is something that bothers me, but isn’t necesarilly a huge issue: is it absolutely normal that all of the viewports need to be rendered again after the export? Or something is still messed up in my Sketchup/Layout file?

Well, Luke, I did what you told and deinstalled Condoc. However, Condoc 3.0 is still there even though there’s no trace of it in Sketchup Plugins folder or in Extension Manager.

Another question related to Interior Sections. Sometimes there’s a need to use multiple Section Planes. However, it seems that after I add another section plane (for exaple inside Level 0 group) Condoc only sees the main section plane while exporting to Layout. Is there a walkaround, am I doing Something wrong or it’s just another thing that should be added to the queue to improve ConDoc even more? 🙂

I mean, sometimes I add a new shortcut on a PC, then fire up my laptop when I’m at home and whooops, I need to add the shortcut again. I saw your trick to keep everything on Dropbox and then just reload a file, but I’m quite forgetful at times and after adding a shortcut, a Layer to my template, a new Symbol in a Scrapbook, etc I won’t export the files needed. I know it’s not a big deal, but after some switches of computers I don’t really know which one is the one that’s storing my latest options.
Do you think it would be good to keep everything on Dropbox and indicate Layout and Sketchup that the Dropbox Folder is the one I want to be the source of all my settings?
